Yesterday was... Eventful

Yet another blog on the daily happenings of my life.
Yesterday, me and my fiancé, Rachel, went to put the reference checks down on that new place I mentioned before. All seemed to be going well, I had all the correct paperwork and the money was sitting in my wallet ready to be exchanged and the ball to be rolling... BUT, something happened... They don't consider Child Benefit to be a part of household income which pulled us slightly under (by about £3500) thye threshhold they wanted.

This could mean one of two things, either, we can't have the place (*cries*) or we may be able to do it if Rachels uncle will be our guarantor and can be earning over £26k a year. I believe he does because that's what we had to do for this place, we can but hope.

In fact, I should be getting a phone call from the estate agents today about it so I'm hoping, and praying, that she gives us good news!

Jakes Views - Injury Lawyers

Hi guys, I'm gonna start occasionally doing a 'Jakes Views' blog post every now and then just talking about a subject and how I feel about it, in the first 'episode' I am going to talk about all these Personal Injury Lawyers you hear so much about.

I've never noticed them before but they have been around a lot, a few ones I've seen a lot of are 'Injury Lawyers 4 you' and 'Underdog' I mean they seem like you can get a nice sum of cash out of injuring yourself but I don't think it's all cracked up to be what they say... A lot of the time it's because the Lawyers are able to dig up some information, such as a company doesn't have insurance, shops are the worst one for this, as a result the person who has injured their self is able to make a claim for thousands, I mean all this is good if you're the one receiving the money but it does change a lot of things in the long-term. For example, car insurance, because so many people have made claims for injury such as whiplash in a car accident, they have managed to, over time, push up the cost of premiums for everyone else. This is also good if you;re the one who has years of No claims, but unfortunately it means the newer drivers aren't able to get insured as easily if at all.

I don't mind so much about the Lawyers it's just the fact that everybody is suing everyone and it's affecting how we all run our day to day lives.

Rant over, next time I'll probably find something else to rant about.

Found what I'm after

I found the majority of the paperwork I need for the new place for friday... Only problem is it's all online, and I don't have a working printer... FML.
This means I have to take a trip to the library at some point today to print it all out, but I am really tired from work as I work nights. In fact, I'm gonna sleep soon for a few hours then get up and get this stuff done. I also need to chat with my better half to get it sorted.

Anyways, I'm off to get some well-earned Z's - Speak soon!

Apologies for the typos.

I'm not a fast typer but it seems I try to be faster than I am, so I will apologise now for any typo's I MAY put into my blogs without noticing... I also look at the keyboard when I type so that might be why lol.

Again, I'm sorry if your inner grammar Nazi wants to shoot me.

Have a nice day :)

plans for today and the coming week

First things first, I'm not always remembering to blog regularly so blogs will be sporadic...
As for this one I'm gonna talk about what my plans are for today and the next week lol.
Today I've gotta somehow try and dig out a heapload of paperwork for so I can fill out this application fro a house me and my fiancé have seen. It's not brilliant but it's still a house, a bigger one than the one we're in right now, it's a two bedroom with a garden.
First thing I thought when I saw the garden was: PARTY! I could have a nice BBQ party in the summer, also means I can do fireworks in november.
The bedrooms are quite nice, both Double rooms, which means David, my son, has lots more room to play in as he grows up.

Anyways, plans are to find all the damn paperwork needed so that'll be fun... Then I've gotta pay off some of the deposit on friday, £200 of it, thankfully I get paid friday too. Still gotta try and raise £2000 by the end of the month *cries* byut hey hopefulyl It''l be ok.

Anyways, best be off to find that paperwork!

First is usually worst

This is just a short blog to say HIIII! Also, I'ma be like adding some new stuff to this page whenever I get the chance of course :)
